Over the summer our guests have loved relaxing in our outdoor space – chatting and soaking up the warmth.  Even as the days get cooler our guests are continuing to enjoy this outdoor area, with the great extra seating and, of course, the bright colours of the flowers, donated by Mill Lane Nursery, Drakes Broughton, Four Acres Nursery, Great Comberton, and Woody’s Farm Shop Tewkesbury and planted up by our guests.

Thanks to generous donations of seating from the Samaritans, ZCT and a friend of Open Door, we now have enough seating for everyone, even on our busiest days.

For many of our guests facing poverty, loneliness, trauma and mental health challenges, moments like these – shared meals, activities, and simple treats – can bring companionship and a sense of belonging.
