As we look ahead to Christmas, we’re also reflecting on the year so far. 2022 has been a big year for Cheltenham Open Door. We’ve settled into our new Guest Hub in Alstone Lane, grown our staff team, and seen an increase in the number of people who need our help.

For those in our community already experiencing hardship, the current cost of living crisis is a further blow. The Open Door At Christmas campaign has launched in readiness for the festive season ahead.

For 2022, we will be open to Guests between 9am and 6pm on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. At our Christmas event, Guest can enjoy three tasty meals a day plus treats, snacks and drinks in between.

There will be chiropody and hairdressing sessions as well as television, board games and entertainment. A range of clothing will be available from our clothes store. There will be Christmas trees, a delicious Christmas dinner and gift bags for every Guest.

Anyone who would like to join us is welcome. No booking, referral or ID is needed. Everything we offer to Guests is free.
