Cheltenham Open Door is located at 39 Grosvenor St, which is at the Strand end of Cheltenham High Street, in the heart of town. Grosvenor St is the road between The Old Restoration pub and Cotswold Kebab.

Finding us by car:

You can approach Open Door from the London Road (towards town) or from the ring road (with Bence’s Yard on your right and KwikFit on your left). These two roads merge just before the gates into Sandford Park, and become the High Street (heading for the pedestrianised end by Sainsbury’s Local and Iceland).

You’ll see the Sandford Park gates on your left and the model car shop and The Vine pub on your right. Turn right immediately before The Vine, into St James’ Street.

At the top of St James’ Street, just before the lights back onto the ring road, you’ll see that you can turn sharp left onto Grosvenor St. Open Door is 100m down on the left.

(Grosvenor St can also be accessed directly from the High St (turn right after The Old Restoration pub). However, you cannot exit Grosvenor St at the other end (onto St James’ St) so you will need to do a three point turn in a narrow street. If you enter from St James’ Street, this gives you a clear run back down to join the High St!) 

The nearest parking is St James’ car park on St James’ Street (see above). Or, if you simply wish to drop something off, there are double yellow lines directly outside our building and willing volunteers to carry things in for you!

Finding us on foot (or from Central Cheltenham public transport stops):

If you are coming by foot, walk up Cheltenham High Street, keeping Marks and Spencers, Superdrug, Argos and then Iceland on your left. About 150m after Iceland, you’ll see Cotswold Kebab and The Old Restoration pub. Turn left between them. This is Grosvenor St. Open Door are 2/3rds of the way up on the right.
